Intrade has opened a market on the current Israeli-Hamas ceasefire lasting until the end of this year. This can be found under Current Events -- Middle East -- Israeli-Hamas Ceasefire.
Contract Rules:
This contract will settle (expire) at 100 ($10.00) if the Israeli-Hamas ceasefire collapses before 11:59:59pm ET on the date specified in the contract.
The contract will settle (expire) at 0 ($0.00) if the Israeli-Hamas ceasefire DOES NOT collapse before 11:59:59pm ET on the date specified in the contract.
The Israeli-Hamas Cease Fire refers to the the truce that began on Thursday June 19th 2008.
If either Hamas or the Israeli Government publically announce that theceasefire is over then the contract will be expired at 100. If no suchannouncement is made, regardless of any activity on the ground, thecontract will not be expired.
Expiry will be based on announcements from Hamas and the Israeli Government, as reported by three independent and reliable media sources.

The Exchange reserves the right to invoke Contract Rule 1.8 (Time Protection) if deemed appropriate.
Any changes to the result after the contract has expired will not be taken into account - Exchange Rule 1.4
